Review: Pegasus

PegasusPegasus by Robin McKinley

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Do you want an amazing story that weaves through your mind as you read it. Do you want to get absorbed into a book and forget about house chores? Go Get Pegasus.
Robin McKinley has brought us into a fantastical new place of terrible monsters and terrible beauty.
In this new tale we open into a kingdom where royalty and officials are bonded to Pegasus. Neither groups can really talk to each other and magicians are there to aide in the communications between the two races, but that is all until the King's fourth child Sylvi, and the child of the Pegasus king Ebon, are bonded and a whole new history is being made.
This book is astounding. I was absorbed. The characters are beautiful, and the writing flows so smoothly it is hard to put down.
I cannot wait for book two.
