Life as I Know It

Wow, sometimes life can move slowly forming itself up like Jello.

Then once you kick back and relax you are turned from that mold upside down and it all melts down over the table, or gets dropped out of the fridge slopping everywhere causing a mess leaving you frazzled and splashed.
(can you tell I made Jello this morning, and I dropped it?!)

We have been driving all over the place, visiting some friends, hitting up some great bookstores and then taking kids to camp and back all month and just when I sit down to read (yeah I even read while in a kayak recently) sh*t happens. And with 5 kids it happens a lot (please the squeamish excuse that metaphor) lately.
We are having one kid get an operation, one just got on braces this morning (wow there does the book buying money) school fast approaching and the sports season sending emails for signing up and finals a few weeks away for me, I am scrabbling to get anything done.

One think I have carved out for myself is reading. I am taking these books EVERYWHERE with me so that I can sport back and sneak in a few pages whenever there is a minute. Because that is the only thing that I have for me. I am carving my minutes for reading whenever I have the chance so when you see me trekking around with my horde there will surely be that backpack full of pens paper and books, books, books, because I can take them anywhere on almost anything.

Read on people! Enjoy every minute!
