Book Blurb:

What if the characters in a vampire novel left their world--and came into yours?

Amy is in love with someone who doesn't exist: Alexander Banks, the dashing hero in a popular series of vampire novels. Then one night, Amy meets a boy who bears an eerie resemblance to Alexander. In fact, he IS Alexander, who has escaped from the pages of the book and is in hot pursuit of a wicked vampire named Vigo. Together, Amy and Alexander set out to track Vigo and learn how and why Alexander crossed over. But when she and Alexander begin to fall for each other, Amy wonders if she even wants him to ever return to the realm of fiction.

My Review:
What if the character from your favorite series became real? That is basically the premise in The Vampire Stalker and it brings us into the heart and story of our heroine Amy who love a vampire hunter in a novel series. Writing fanfiction by night Amy lives vicariously through the characters in the books series of the Otherworld. Here vampires own the night and humans try to survive the days while hunters like Alexander try to eliminate the vampire threat . Set in an a parallel universe the Otherworldly is alive and separated from present day until a portal opens dropping one of the most bloodthirsy vampires from the Otherworld, Vigo , drops into present day Chicago while being pursued by legendary hunter Alexander Banks.

Amy is soon thrown in the middle of an epic battle while also fending of the battlefield of love.

The Vampire Stalker was a fantastically written and imagined book. Seriously who among us has nit wanted a character to pop out from our books and pursue us in one way or another sometimes. The author Allison Van Diepen create such a poignant story that enraptures the reader. There is some great humor and action here that keeps your heart pounding and the characters feel alive.

A great release to pick up and imagine the story alongside Amy, because sometimes in more than dreams our characters come alive.
