A View From Tuesday

Keeping and Eye on Upcoming Titles:

One More Day novella on Life After Theft   by Aprilynne Pike
releases 4.2.2013
Life After Theft releases 4.30.13

Thoughts:
We are very excited for this upcoming release since we are many Pike fans here.

Blurb From The Publisher:
Moving to a new high school sucks. Especially a rich-kid private school. With uniforms. But nothing is worse than finding out the first girl you meet is dead. And a klepto.
No one can see or hear Kimberlee except Jeff, so--in hopes of bringing an end to the snarkiest haunting in history--he agrees to help her complete her "unfinished business." But when the enmity between Kimberlee and Jeff's new crush, Sera, manages to continue posthumously, Jeff wonders if he's made the right choice.
Clash meets sass in this uproarious modern-day retelling of Baroness Orczy's The Scarlet Pimpernel, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Aprilynne Pike.

The Moon and More
Sarah Dessen
Releases 6.4.13

Thoughts:
Oh when I saw this cover I was almost heartbroken that it was not out already.
Dessen is able to personify here characters to an extreme that  makes you feel like a part of the book in every perfect happy and yet heart wrenching way.  Get the tissues and book hangover supplies ready. The Moon And More sounds fabulous.

Blurb From The Publisher:
Luke is the perfect boyfriend: handsome, kind, fun. He and Emaline have been together all through high school in Colby, the beach town where they both grew up. But now, in the summer before college, Emaline wonders if perfect is good enough.
Enter Theo, a super-ambitious outsider, a New Yorker assisting on a documentary film about a reclusive local artist. Theo's sophisticated, exciting, and, best of all, he thinks Emaline is much too smart for Colby.
Emaline's mostly-absentee father, too, thinks Emaline should have a bigger life, and he's convinced that an Ivy League education is the only route to realizing her potential. Emaline is attracted to the bright future that Theo and her father promise. But she also clings to the deep roots of her loving mother, stepfather, and sisters. Can she ignore the pull of the happily familiar world of Colby?
Emaline wants the moon and more, but how can she balance where she comes from with where she's going?

Whoa . ..  Did You See This . .. . .

I was cruising Amazon this morning and found this upcoming release paperback of Throne of Glass and was totally taken aback by the cover!

Personally I love it. It carries some of the characteristics of the character in the book and her massive badassery which was less than portrayed in the previous cover -->

In fact I may need to order this edition just to have the cover and gift on my hardcover. This makes one wonder what we can expect from the upcoming sequel out in August, Crown of Midnight.

Oh yes and this:

Here is the cover for:
Dream Thieves
Maggie Stiefvater
Raven Boys #2
Releases: 9.17.13

And Also:

The Fiery Heart
Richelle Mead
Bloodlines #4
Releases: 11.19.13

Blurb:
Sydney Sage is an Alchemist, one of a group of humans who dabble in magic and serve to bridge the worlds of humans and vampires. They protect vampire secrets—and human lives.
In The Indigo Spell, Sydney was torn between the Alchemist way of life and what her heart and gut were telling her to do. And in one breathtaking moment that Richelle Mead fans will never forget, she made a decision that shocked even her. . . .
But the struggle isn't over for Sydney. As she navigates the aftermath of her life-changing decision, she still finds herself pulled in too many directions at once. Her sister Zoe has arrived, and while Sydney longs to grow closer to her, there's still so much she must keep secret. Working with Marcus has changed the way she views the Alchemists, and Sydney must tread a careful path as she harnesses her profound magical ability to undermine the way of life she was raised to defend. Consumed by passion and vengeance, Sydney struggles to keep her secret life under wraps as the threat of exposure—and re-education—looms larger than ever.
Pulses will race throughout this thrilling fourth installment in the New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series, where no secret is safe.
