Our Thoughts On Dark Kiss:

Samantha always tried to be responsible, but one party at the Craze turned Sam into something else, stole something important from Sam. When Sam looses her soul she turns into something slightly less human, and she is filled with a hunger she can barely contain. Samantha's whole world soon changes as she becomes a "gray" but she also finds that the battle for good and evil was not as black and white as tales told. When demons and angels start to wind up in Samantha's town of Trinity, and people go missing or turn into monsters Sam knows that she has to step up to the fight. When Sam meets up with an angel leader Bishop by accident in a park she finds that she may be what Bishop has been looking for and Sam may be the only thing to keep Bishop fighting. With a past that may have been a lie and a future that comes in glimpse to Sam's newly found precognition these characters soon find out that their mission and futures are more intertwined and catastrophic than they had ever imagined before.

Samantha's character in Dark Kiss is a godsend for many of the characters in the book, just as damaging as she is to others. Sam is struggling to come to terms with a heated kiss that transformed her into a soulless hungering anomaly. Not being either a demon or an angel, Sam soon learns that her parents where not who they seemed and this makes her a person of interests to the powers that be in the world. Sam is also struggling with a burning desire for Bishop, but she could spell the end for him. Bishop's character is intriguing because he came to earth from being an angel and his falling may turn into something unexpected and dangerous as he also fell damaged and without the proper memories to complete this battle. As angels and demons group together to hunt down the soul devouring grays that are being made by an abnormal demon on the loose, Sam has to struggle past her own new nature to save her friends faster than they are being devoured.

Dark Kiss is a haunting new YA paranormal romance that will catch readers with its troubled main characters and the support cast of demons and angels throughout the storyline. As the book progresses more secrets are released about everyone and their missions becomes that much more imperative to save each other and their city. With time ticking by Sam and Bishop have to come to terms with their natures and their futures if they are to save themselves, and save the unsuspecting world around them. When the balance between Heaven and Hell is disrupted will a new host of beings take precedent as they begin feeding on people and disrupt the distribution of souls that fuel the universe, or will an unruly band end the imbalance before it can affect the works world. Dark Kiss will catch readers with a thrilling and building plot mixed with a little romance and the sharp edge of a blade. If one kiss can transform you, can it also destroy the world?

Blurb From The Publisher:

I don't do dangerous.  Smart, über-careful, ordinary Samantha-that's me. But I just couldn't pass up a surprise kiss from my number-one unattainable crush. A kiss that did something to me...something strange. Now I feel hungry all the time, but not for food. It's like part of me is missing-and I don't know if I can get it back.
Then there's Bishop. At first I thought he was just a street kid, but the secrets he's keeping are as intense as his unearthly blue eyes. If he's what I think he is, he may be the only one who can help me. But something terrifying is closing in, and the one chance Bishop and I have to stop it means losing everything I ever wanted and embracing the darkness inside me.
