Review: Illusions

Illusions (Wings #3)Illusions by Aprilynne Pike

  • Pub. Date: May 2011
  • Publisher: HarperCollins Publishers
  • Format: Hardcover , 384pp

The third installment of he Wings series brings us Illusions.
There is a huge change coming for Laurel in this book relationships will change and a new possibility comes to the light for the fairies. The affects of their findings in Illusions will change the next book for sure.

Our main character Laurel comes to make a new hard choice as she reorganizes her relationships between Tamani and David (finally!) and soon a new character comes into town alongside a new horde of advanced Trolls.

Illusion brings of the split romance we have come to experience in the series as well as the difference between Avalon and the Human World. Aprilynne Pike writes us an amazing cast of characters that we feel we are experiencing right alongside her as a reader. I ate up Illusions over the weekend and could not set it down. Pike has set of a fantastic ending to make a smooth transition into the fourth book, which I feel may have harder choices set up for Laurel to decide upon as well as more action with devastating consequences across both barriers.
So get ready for what is hiding behind the illusions and make book four be released soon!
