Review: Faerie Winter

Faerie Winter (Faerie, #2)Faerie Winter by Janni Lee Simner

  • Pub. Date: April 2011
  • Publisher: Random House Children's Books
  • Format: Hardcover , 288pp

Bones of Faerie was an amazing read a little while back and now with the release of Faerie Winter I was ecstatic. We return back to a cold world where Liza lives and the town is wondering if the drift of winter will ever end.

When Liza returns home she is hopeful that both worlds of Faerie and Humans are separate and life can move on, but that soon seems unrealistic for Liza when the Fae come looking for something to bring back life to their world and Liza may not has it easy now.

What I really loved in Faerie Winter was the introduction to Mathew and what mayhap develop in a possible next book with that relationship.

Winter cleaned up some loose ends from Bones and that was great, while also adding some new twists and turns that keep a reader satisfied and interested.

Winter left me feeling great and hopeful at the end looking more more from this author.
