Being a weaver I loved the inherent background of warped. The author wove a fantastical tale of a tapestry laid in sight for a long time that held an imprisoned man turned woven unicorn that set the very fabric of time, life, and death asunder.
The verbage in description in Warped is perfect for the reader, and I loved the characters. As their intentions in the story changed the characters priorities were warped themselves. Several times as the plot shifter and the back story unraveled I was engrossed in the possibilities.
Warped was vey amazing to read. As a recent release from a debut author I cannot wait for the upcoming possibilities from this author.
The imagination in the book was fantastic, and it was a breath of fresh air in the YA genre with it's writing and storyline.
If you want a story that picks through several myths turned flesh, and a but of twist in history and present day, grab a copy of Warped. It will not leave you feeling like a loose end.
