Review: Darkest Mercy

Darkest Mercy (Wicked Lovely, #5)Darkest Mercy by Melissa Marr
Hardcover, 336 pages

The ending of a great series is always hard to read for me. There is the apprehension ow staring it since you know that it is the last, combined with the longing you have held o see what happens to your characters in the first place as you have waited.

Darkest Mercy is the final book in the Wicked Lovely series. In it's pages we come to massive story conclusions and lost characters, intertwined with found love and court changes. New characters are introduced, and old beloved characters are changed forever.

There were jubilant times, and teary pages.

Darkest Mercy was an amazing conclusion from Melissa Mar. At the last page the story ending felt completed and some characters are moving onto new paths, but it felt good to finish.

The loose end weight was lifted from m shoulders and I could set the book down feeling good.

If you enjoyed the Wicked Lovely series so far, you will love the finished story. Marr weaves an amazing story with enough love and tragedy to cut it with a knife, and yet the finished product still leaves you with a satisfied sigh.

The characters interactions were all well played out and described. A great conclusion to an epic series.
